Megan O'Reilly is not your normal girl. She has rediscovered a paranormal gift that has eluded her since she was a child, the ability to see the future in her dreams. Presently, she is in her early forties throwing herself into work as a television producer on a tabloid news show in Southern California.
After a few years of a stormy marriage that ended in a messy divorce, she has given up on the idea of a steady relationship and focused on her career. She has been rewarded with three Emmy awards and is at the top of her profession.
One night, Meg has a dream that reminds her of her childhood, a dream that turns into a nightmare. After going to a very skeptical police detective trying without success to convince him of her abilities, she gives up.
A week later the killings, which have been haunting her in her dreams, begin with the murder of a top female model.
The very detectives with whom she confessed her dreams to are convinced she is a suspect as a result of her detailed knowledge of the crimes. When she starts a story on Satanism and Masochism she finds the killer coming after her.
